JOE LYNN TURNER to Release New Maxi-CD Single In Japan

December 18, 2005

According to a posting on the RAINBOW fan site The Rainbow Fanclan Legacy, Yamaha Music will on February 1, 2006 release a maxi-CD single from Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) featuring the track "The One". This song has become very popular in Japan, where it has been used in a commercial for the Japanese car brand Subaru. The maxi-CD single will contain four different versions of "The One": Normal Version, Remix Version, Band Version and Instrumental Version.

Turner's latest solo album, "The Usual Suspects", was released earlier in the year via Frontiers Records. The CD was produced by Bob Held and Joe Lynn Turner and features a host of well-known faces such as Al Pitrelli (MEGADETH, SAVATAGE) and Karl Cochran (ACE FREHLEY, NUCLEAR ASSAULT) on guitar, David Z on bass, John O'Reilly on drums, Paul Morris and Andy Burton on keyboards, with Nancy Bender helping out with some background vocals.
